Built and restructured by the nuns and volunteers, 6 years of work have been necessary to rehabilitate and transform this old body of farm.

Today the sisters devote their time to religion, the prayers, offices, to the achievement of icons but also to beekeeping, to gardening, the reception of visitors, and in the manufacture of products intended for sale : Honey, gingerbread, jams…

Guided tours open to the public

Location and contacts

Starting from Mahsain, take the road in the direction of Montgreleix (D36) then turn right in the direction of the Godde (The monastery is arrow), cross the village of Le Gödde on its small narrow road, crossing possible attention of herd.

Since Saint-NECTAIRE, take the direction of Besse, then Compains, then Espinchal, La Godivelle, Montgreleix, just after this last road descending, you will see it shining down on your left. Continue your road until you see the sign on your left the Godde, turn and follow the road until the end.
