Lake Chauvet

This deep lake 86 meter is housed in a former volcanic crater. Located at 1162 metres above sea level it is bordered by the forest of Montbert.

To get there from Picherande, take the provincial road 203 a few kilometres in the direction of Super-Besse, Lake You then shown on your right. You can park in a parking lot and then join the lake walk. Note that this is a private Lake, It is therefore forbidden to bathe or fish.
