Appointment Sunday 28 July 2019 in Orcival Official for the 18th national competition of AOP Saint Nectaire.

A hundred of St Nectaire will compete and this in three categories : The Farmers, Dairy producers and refiners masters.

This competition is organized by the’interprofessional Saint-Nectaire PDO.

Orcival welcomes you on a whole weekend (SATURDAY 27 and Sunday 28 July 2019). Two days of festivities with meals, concerts, traditional dances, fireworks, balloon release, empty granaries, craft market, attractions, stand photo, game educational track, sheep dog demonstration and of course competition for the best Saint-Nectaire 2019.

A contest that will decide sixty producers, 4 and dairies 12 affineurs. The cheeses will be submitted for consideration by the jury appearance, texture, shape, their crust, flavor.

This year the guest of honor is’PDO Abondance, Savoie cheese.
