A hundred cheeses in competition in 3 distinct categories : The Farmers, Dairy producers and refiners masters.
From morning to evening entertainment is planned, Hiking, initiation au biathlon, introduction to archery, introduction to traditional dances, play in patois, meals, tombola, concert, barbecue, country market, discovery of flowery meadows by the Parc des Volcans, herding dog demonstration, presentation of dairy cows, exhibition on Saint-Nectaire, Citroën rally 2 horses, carriage rides, presentation of old trades…
The Saint-Nectaire competition will begin with a preselection in the morning, deliberation during the day and awarding of prizes at the end of the day, free tasting of competition cheeses for the public.
This year the guest of honor cheese is theAOP Sainte-Maure de Touraine, a goat's cheese from the Center Val de Loire region.
